How to Make Your Own Baby Shower Party Favors
Though it is not a requirement for guests at a baby shower to leave with a party favor, it has become customary. Favors are a nice way to show your appreciation and thank guests for coming to the shower. They also add to the decoration and theme of the event. Flower seed packets are an easy, affordable and practical gift that you can assemble in little time with minimal effort. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Mini terracotta pots
- Baby's breath seed packets
- Baby blue eyes seed packets
- Ribbon
- Computer
- Printer
- Printer paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick or double-sided tape
- Cellophane

Purchase supplies. Each shower guest should get one mini terracotta pot, one seed packet and one ribbon.

Type a poem on the computer and print out enough copies for every guest. The poem can read, "Please plant these seeds and watch them bloom. Just like Baby (last name) who will be here soon."

Cut out the poems and adhere them to the backs of the seed packets using either a glue stick or tape.

Place one seed packet in each pot. Wrap the cellophane around the pot and tie at the top with the ribbon.

Tips & Warnings
Using cellophane, ribbon and printer paper that coordinate with the colors of the baby shower will add decoration to the room. Arrange finished favors at each guest's place setting; alternate place settings with Baby's Breath and Baby Blue Eyes seed packets.
