- 2 Brick Halves
- River Rocks
- Liquid Nail
- Plumber's Putty
-
Step 1
Place your pump inside the largest clay pot and run the power cord out of the opening in the bottom of the pot. Add plumber's putty around the cord to seal the opening. Attach the plastic tubing to the pump as indicated on the pump set up instructions.
-
Step 2
Stand up the two whole bricks on their shortest ends and place them in the center of the large pot. This will be the base for your medium pot. Adhere the bricks to the large clay pot with a waterproof adhesive like liquid nail.
-
Step 3
Slide your plastic pump tube between the two bricks and through the opening in the bottom of the medium clay pot. Adhere the second pot to the standing bricks with liquid nail. Seal the opening with plumber's putty.
-
Step 4
Place the two brick halves in the medium pot and attach them with adhesive. Repeat the process in step 4, feed the plastic tubing through the opening of the smallest clay pot, adhere it to the bricks and seal the opening.
-
Step 5
Place the river rocks in each of the clay pots for decorations. Most of the rocks should be placed in the largest pot to hide the pump and its mechanisms. You can also choose to plant bamboo stalks in the clay pots for added interest to your water feature.
-
Step 6
Fill each pot with water before turning on the pump.
