Not all of us can make it to the spa to pamper ourselves, so we turn our own bathrooms into one when we get the chance. A seaweed wrap does your body good by drawing out toxins and impurities and taking a few minutes for yourself just makes you feel better. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup dried or powdered seaweed
  • Water to make a thick paste
  • Plastic wrap or shower curtain

Instructions

      Mix the seaweed and enough water together in a bowl to make a smooth, thick paste.

      Spread the paste all over your body and don't forget your back.

      Lay an old, but clean, shower curtain or a large piece of plastic or plastic wrap down in the bathtub.

      Lay down in the tub and wrap the plastic around yourself as best as you possibly can. You can also wrap yourself up in towels to keep warm or if you just feel funny about laying naked wrapped in plastic.

      Relax and let the mud dry. It should take about 30 minutes.

      Rinse the mud off with warm water and pat dry. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer to protect your skin.

  • Three ounces of fresh seaweed can be used instead of the powder. Add some cucumber slices to your eyes,a facial mask, and a deep conditioning hair treatment and you are set from top to bottom.
