How to Clean Gold Naturally
Whether you have gold jewelry or gold coins, they are valuable and should be kept looking their best. There are commercial gold cleaners out there that you can purchase to polish up your gold, but that costs money. There really isn't any reason you can't use natural products to clean your gold at home for less. Does this Spark an idea?

Add three drops of dish soap to the bottom of a bowl.

Fill the bowl up with lukewarm water.

Add a drop of ammonia to the bowl.

Stir the bowl's contents to combine all of the ingredients.

Drop your gold jewelry or gold coin in the bowl and let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on how dirty the piece is.

Remove the gold and use a toothbrush to scrub all of the nooks and crannies. You don't need to scrub hard to do the job well.

Rinse the gold in a bowl of plain water. Make sure you get all of the soap off. You can use a washcloth to do this.

Dry your gold off with a cloth. Don't let your gold air dry, or you may find water spots on it.

Tips & Warnings
You can rinse the soap off of your gold under a faucet, but then you risk dropping it down the drain.
Don't use harsh chemicals to clean your gold because they could eat away at the surface.
