How to Burn DVDs with Nero

Thanks to Nero software, movie collectors have a fairly simple method of burning their own copies of their favorite films. You can pay for a movie on your favorite movie website, pull it up on your Nero software and burn it fairly easily onto a blank DVD.

      Download the movie you wish to burn. You may use the MVLIB website or your favorite movie downloading site. There are a number of websites that offer inexpensive downloads of movies of all genres.

      Open your Nero software. If you haven't downloaded Nero, you may do so by following the link in the Resources section and clicking on "Products," "Nero 9" and then "Add to Cart." Once you have typed in your contact and credit-card information, the Nero software automatically begins to download to your computer.

      Put a blank DVD into the DVD-burning drive on your computer. A window titled "New Compilation" will appear. Type any desired information about the movie into the corresponding blanks on your screen. You can type in the names of the movie, the director and any of the actors.

      Click on "File Browser" to search for the movie you have downloaded that you want to burn onto the blank DVD. Double-click on the movie file.

      Click the "Burn" button on your Nero software when you are ready to start burning the movie onto the DVD. A progress window will pop up on your computer screen showing you how much of your DVD has been burned.

      Wait for the completed DVD to be automatically ejected from your computer. This means your DVD has been successfully burned using Nero and is ready to be used on another computer or in a DVD player.
