One way to easily increase your efficiency is to avoid typing your contact information into outgoing email messages over and over again. Here is how to add a 'signature' line to your Yahoo! Mail account.

  1. Step 1
    'Options'
    'Options'

    Log into your email as usual. Once you have logged in, go to your inbox. On the right hand side you should find a drop-down box labeled “Options”.

    Select “Mail Options” from the drop-down list.

  3. Step 3

    On the left side, there will be a list of possible selections. Select the second item down, “Signature”.

  4. Step 4

    In the main box, select the option to “Show a signature on all outgoing messages”.

    Type the information you want listed below all of your outgoing emails in the blue box. If you wish to have text formatting (such as bold, underline, or different fonts and font sizes), click on the “Rich Text” button in the upper right corner of the box.

    Once you are satisfied with the layout of your signature line, save your design by selecting “Save Changes”. As soon as you get the confirmation “Saved changes to Signature”, you are done – congratulations!
