Things You'll Need:
- Paper, crayons, and a pencil or pen
- A few minutes of time
- Less than 10 dollars
-
Step 1
Fold a piece of printer paper in half. Think of all the things your daughter loves: rainbows, trees, hearts, ballerinas, princesses, etc. Draw a child-like card cover. Don't make it artistic. Just include things you know she loves. Color it with crayon.
-
Step 2
See www.crazedparent.org/ 2008/02/get-crafty-va-1.html for full card craft idea.On the inside write a simple message you can read to your daughter. Here is an example: "Ella, I love you so very much. You have won my heart princess. I love your smile, your beautiful eyes, and the way you say, "I love you, too, Daddy. You are my Valentine, Love Daddy."
-
Step 3
Buy something simple and small to include with the card. A cheap pair of socks with hearts on them, a new set of pink and red tights, or a small package of valentine's candy. Put these at her spot on the table the night before Valentine's Day. Make sure you tell her you love her with your own mouth, too.
