Connect With Other Writers on Ehow

So, you have joined this wonderful community called Ehow and have written some articles, now what??? Well, many people start getting the urge to connect with other writers here on Ehow. Not sure how to do that??? Well, here is an article to help you learn how to connect with other writers on Ehow.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet
  • Computer
  • Ehow Account
  1. Step 1

One of the best ways to connect with other writers is to start checking out the Forum. The Forum is where many writers gather to talk about what works for them on Ehow, what bugs them and to share their triumphs and disappointments. It also is one of the best ways to learn those “unwritten rules” and codes of conduct that help new Ehow writers fit into this wonderful site. To get to the Forum, click on the Community tab, then click on "Forums".

  2. Step 2

Another great place to connect with other Ehow writers is in the groups. Ehow offers a whole bunch of groups with many different interests. There is usually something for everybody there. Joining a group is a wonderful way to connect with other writers based on your interests. To get to the groups, click on the Community tab, then click "groups".

  3. Step 3

Many of the writers on Ehow have their own blog. Some blogs are even specifically about Ehow. Many times Ehow writers will list their blogs on their profile or announce they have a blog on the forum. This is a great way to get connected with other writers. Most people who write blogs, enjoy knowing they are being read. So add a comment to their blog and let them know you are from Ehow. This is a great way to connect.

  4. Step 4

Some Ehow writers are “tweeting” on Twitter. Ask around the forum and groups to find out who is using Twitter and start following them. Many times they will use Twitter as a way to let readers know that they have a new Ehow article. Twitter also has a function that allows you to direct the “tweet” towards that person and allows conversations to go on. This give you yet another way to connect with Ehow writers.

  5. Step 5

See the Resources below for more writing on Ehow ideas. You may also want to check out the related articles that are listed on the sides of this article.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be friendly with others but respect their space. You want others to get to know you, but not feel like they are being stalked.
  • Don’t Spam!!! Be interested in the other person, not just use them as a vehicle to get your articles read. Others do not like this. They are much more open to you if they feel like you have some interest in them. Be sincere about this, most people can spot it when you’re faking. The people here at Ehow are very interesting people if you give them a chance.
