How to Get Help Filling Out Your Own Taxes

This will list the websites and places you can get help filling out your federal income taxes.

• internet access
• patience
• basic computer knowledge
• a note pad to take notes

1. First get all of your W-2's together. For yourself and if you are married for your spouse. If you are filing joint you will need all of the w-2's.

2. Get all of your bank statements that show interest for the year that you have been paid.

3. You will need to have the previous years tax documents handy

4. Once you start to fill out the form and hit a stump you begin your search for help topics....
