Go to the Annual Credit Report website by typing this into your browser, or clicking the link in the resource section below. This is the only official free credit report website and it is not a scam and will not ask you to sign up for a membership.

Request your free credit report. Enter your name, address, social security number and answer 3 questions to verify your identity when prompted. Review your credit information including your accounts in good standing, potentially negative items, personal information, and history of requests for your credit history by potential creditors. You can also find information on disputing items on the report.

Alternatively, you can go to each individual credit agencies website. They are as follows:
