  1. Step 1

Having a car stolen is probably a terrible feeling as not only would the car be gone but you may well be out money to rent a car as well since most please use their car on a daily basis to drive to and from work. The first thing you must do is realize no matter how much you protect your car if a thief is truly determined to get it he will find a way, at same time though their are some precautions you can take to help prevent your car from being easily stolen.

  2. Step 2

Install a Car Alarm. Car alarms don't have to be expensive as many budget friendly models exist. To see whats available in car alarms try to visit your local car stereo shop as they generally sell and install car alarms.

  3. Step 3

Lock your doors. I know this sounds silly but truth is many people do not lock their car doors which makes their vehicle become a very inviting target to criminal elements.

  4. Step 4

Park in well lighted areas. Parking in well lighted area also prevents car left because thieves are more likely to steal a car in dark where they cant be easily detected than in a well lighted area where their actions are on full view to all who pass by.

  5. Step 5

While the options above are not fool proof they will help to protect your vehicle if followed.
