How to Get Sauce Stains Out of Plastic Storage Containers

You decided to make a huge pot of spaghetti sauce and store it in plastic containers to be frozen for future use. Now that you've used the frozen sauce, how are you going to get that sauce stain out of the container?

Things You'll Need:

• Cold Water
• Liquid Soap

1. Now that you have poured your spaghetti sauce (or any other type of reddish gravy or sauce)out of your plastic container, I'll tell you how to get it back to its original color. I have used this method for every type of plastic container and it works every time.

2. Put a drop or two of liquid soap into the empty container. Now, add COLD water. Yes, that's right; COLD water and let it soak a few minutes.

3. Scrub the container with a rough sponge while the cold water is still in it. Dump the water out and rinse with cold water. No more sauce stain! Your container is ready to use again & again...and not only for sauce!

Tips & Warnings

• Once the sauce color is out, I usually wash the container again with hot water and soap.
