Step 1
First step is to find out how much per month an article is making, or you can group them all together and calculate a total value of your articles. Anyhow you do it will show you a value of your article.
-
Step 2
The way I see my articles are that they are money in the bank. Ehow is the bank and making interest payments to me every month for holding my articles. If we use todays average rate of around 3% interest for a CD in the bank. Note that at time of writing this article the rate of 3% is really low and a higher interest rate will show a different value for your articles. Ok now we take your monthly "interest" (income). Multiply this times 12 (this is for 12 months in the year). Then divide the interest rate 3% as 0.03. This will give you a value of your article as if it was money in the bank making your interest.
-
Step 3
Lets say I made 2 dollars on one article in one month. Multiply the 2 dollars by 12. Thats $24 dollars, now divide by interest rate of 3% or .03. Thats $800 bucks! That is what you would be making for interest if you put $800 bucks in a bank CD. So I feel that my articles are worth that because I still own my articles and will always make money on them. Using this formula will hopefully help some of you see the real value of writing articles on ehow. Its not just the pennies or dollars every month but the value of your article.
