Create A Romantic Scavenger Hunt

One of the all time romantic ideas for Valentine's Day is a romantic scavenger hunt. You can become Sherlock Holmes while searching for clues and hints to a surprise at the end of the hunt.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • rose petals
  • notes in rhymning style
  • candles
  • romantic music
  1. Step 1

You will need to make up several notes that rhymn and lead to other areas for more clues. I suggest no more than five. Any more and it becomes tiresome. You want to keep them wanting more.

  2. Step 2

Place the first one where they will see it as soon as they get home. Or maybe even as a test message. This clue will lead them to a point of interest. This is where they will pick up their first note. Add a fresh rose for more flair!! This will continue through to the last note.

  3. Step 3

The last note will lead them to you. Maybe at your home around a romantic dinner table where you have cooked one fabulous meal. Once they get to the house, lay rose petals from the drive to the table. If you live in an apartment, trail them up the steps or into the elevator. Make sure that when they arrive you greet them holding another rose.
