Like or not, there are times when a tattoo is just not appropriate for some occasions.
A wedding, job interview or formal event are just a few times you may need to disguise your tattoo. The following instructions will show you how to use makeup to cover your tattoo.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • I like to use a makeup designed specifically for extreme coverage. My preference is the ColorTration Tattoo Cover Kit.
  • This contains 9 shades of makeup, applicators, sealing spray, mixing vial, blotting pads and remover.
  1. Step 1

Find the color or mix of colors that match your skin tone. Test shades by brushing a little makeup on where your tattoo meets your skin and feather outwards a little past your tattoo. When the color matches your good to go.

  2. Step 2

Apply a thin layer of makeup and allow to dry. Use the blotters in the kit and blot the area after waiting about 5 minutes. The blotter pad should be clean. If any of the tattoo is still showing, repeat step 2.

  3. Step 3

Once your tattoo is covered and dry, use the Barrier Spray that comes with the kit. Hold the Barrier Spray about ten inches away and apply a light misting over the tattoo. Allow to dry and not only is your tattoo covered but it is sealed. No worries about makeup getting on clothing, etc.

Tips & Warnings
  • The Tattoo Kit comes with step by step detailed instructions.
