Ever experienced dropping a class after your first day because of a mean or grumpy professor and you regret choosing his or her class? Well, you probably should learn how to choose the right professor for you!

Things You'll Need:

  • Class Schedule
  • Computer w/ Internet
  1. Step 1

    First, you need all the subjects you need to take. Have them ready so it would be easier for you.

  2. Step 2

    Get the list of subjects / courses offered on the semester you are going to be attending. It provides the time, room number and Professor names of the classes / subjects being offered.

  3. Step 3
     

    Log on to the internet and go to http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ and type the name of last name of the professor you want to look for. Be sure that you click the correct professor because majority of them have same names.

  4. Step 4

    After looking up for the correct professor you are looking for, you will see reviews and comments from other students. It will help you know how they conduct the class, what kind of projects they give etcetera!

  5. Step 5

    If you can’t find the professor you are looking for at ratemyprofessors.com, ask currently enrolled students when you go to your college, it would also be a great opportunity to meet friends.

  6. Step 6

    If it still doesn’t work, here is a tip for you… Classes of great professors are the ones that are usually filled up the fastest. Register early! If you procrastinate about it, you will end up having a bad schedule and an awful professor!
