How to Save YouTube Videos

Millions of people go to YouTube to watch gazillions of online videos. Original video uploaders sometimes loose the original video, good thing they uploaded it on YouTube, but the next problem? How to save the uploaded video! Here are some guides and tips on how you can get back a video file of your missing video or maybe you just want a video file of your favorite video by other YouTube users!

Instructions

1. Look for the YouTube video you want to save

2. Open a new window or tab on your browser and go to http://www.keepvid.com/

3. Go back to the YouTube window or tab and copy the “URL” of the video.

4. Paste it on the URL box on keepvid.com and click download.

5. You can choose between two options on how you want to save the video:
   
   Option one: Low quality video .FLV it is in flash extension and you will need a video converter if you don’t have a flash player.
   
   Option two: High quality video in mp4 [MPEG-4]. The video plays on Quicktime player. You can also reupload it straight on YouTube without converting it to another file.
