Things You'll Need:
- access to the internet
- your credit card
- list of full names of your groomsmen
-
Step 1
Determine how much you want to spend on each groomsmen. Typically, brides and groomsmen spend 3% of the overall wedding budget on wedding attendant gifts. That leaves 1.5% of the budget for groomsmen gifts. If you're overall wedding budget is $20,000, that dictates $300 for the groomsmen gifts. If you have 5 groomsmen, that's $60 each. This is a rough rule of thumb.
-
Step 2
Pick all the same items for each guy. It's easiest for you if you select the same item for each groomsman. This way no one will complain that someone else got a cooler gift.
-
Step 3
Personalize the gifts for extra meaning. Engraved or personalized gifts mean more. They show that you put in extra time and effort to make the gift as special as possible. Everyone likes to feel fussed over and your groomsmen will appreciate your extra effort.
-
Step 4
Decide on what to engrave. Depending on the space allowable on the item you selected, you may have room to engrave only initials or a full name or just a first name.
-
Step 5
Order online for minimal effort on your part. The great think about the internet is that you can shop from home. No running to the mall. No two hour shopping trip. You can get this all done in about 15 minutes.
-
Step 6
Pick a reputable online store. Stores that show pictures of their facility or business are the best. That way you know you are working with an established company, not some guy selling stuff out of his garage.
