Step 1
Determine how much you want to spend on each groomsmen. Typically, brides and groomsmen spend 3% of the overall wedding budget on wedding attendant gifts. That leaves 1.5% of the budget for groomsmen gifts. If you're overall wedding budget is $20,000, that dictates $300 for the groomsmen gifts. If you have 5 groomsmen, that's $60 each. This is a rough rule of thumb.

Pick all the same items for each guy. It's easiest for you if you select the same item for each groomsman. This way no one will complain that someone else got a cooler gift.
