Step 1
Gather seeds and spread out and let then dry out, making sure they are completely dried, then remove pods or capsules. This can be a messy task. remove pulp and wash, followed drying and storing.

Step 2
To make removing the a little easier. Soak them in a qt. jar with 1 teaspoon of baking soda added to water. This can help soften the hard pulpy fruit that surrounds the seed. I soaked them for apx. 24hrs. Run under warm water and remove rest of the pulp.

Step 3
Spreading the seeds out and drying them completely, this may take 4-5 days to make sure they are dry. Then store the seeds in a cool dry place till planting day.
