- Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or similar product
- Toothpaste
- WD-40
- Baking soda
- Rubbing alcohol

- Sponge or non-abrasive brush
-
Step 1
Rub a pencil eraser over the scuff mark. Similarly, use a commercial "cleaning eraser" such as the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
-
Step 2
Try a little toothpaste on the scuff mark, rubbing gently with a soft-bristled brush.
-
Step 3
Spray a small amount of WD-40 on the scuff and wipe away with a soft cloth or paper towel.
-
Step 4
Mix baking soda and water together to make a scrubbing paste. Apply to the scuff and gently rub with a cloth or sponge.
-
Step 5
Try rubbing the scuff with a little bit of alcohol. Apply the alcohol with a soft micro-fiber cloth for best results.
-
Step 6
Use a commercial cleaning product from your floor manufacturer. It is best to use a cleaner specifically for your brand of flooring to ensure there is nothing harmful in the product. Use according to the directions.
