Things You'll Need:
- internet connection
- paper
- scissors
- copier
- art supplies
- envelopes
- class list
-
Step 1
use fun clip artUsing your own computer program such as PrintShop or Photoshop is a great way to design a fun invitation. Have fun with it, use photos of your child you have stored in the computer, and/or fun clip art to make the invitation fun and creative. Using photos and printing your child's name means less signing and writing for them which is a bonus.
-
Step 2
caricatures are funHire a caricature artist who can create a memorable caricature of your child for the Valentine. The caricature could be reused as your child's "logo" for stationary, birthday cards, birthday invitations, return address labels, etc.
-
Step 3
There are companies which specialize in designing custom Valentine's, invitation, etc using your own photos. Search for custom photo invitations on the internet.
-
Step 4
Twilight Valentine'sMy favorite and most inexpensive way to design invitations and cards is by using VistaPrint. You can use clip art and upload it to their site, or use your own photos. My older daughter opted for a photo of her favorite Twighlight character, Edward. My younger daughter used a photo of a horse and a small photo of herself. Both Valentine's turned out great.
-
Step 5
let your child use what they loveYou also can make copies of any clip art, photos, etc that your child wants to use and make Valentine's out of construction paper. Craft stores will have die cut hearts to save on time and cutting.
