Things You'll Need:
- Seeds from a pumpkin
- Cookie sheet
- Salt and (special seasoning optional)
-
Step 1
While carving your Pumpkin make sure to keep the seeds inside.Place them in a bowel, run them under running water massaging all of the flesh off them. Pick out as much of the debris that you can, the sedds will feel a bit slippery.
-
Step 2
Put the seeds in some fresh water and add hlaf cup of salt, make sure to stir well to disolve the salt. Store overnight at room tempreture and make sure to cover.
-
Step 3
Drain the Pumpkin seeds out on a towel to get the excess water off.Take a cookie sheet and spread out evenly. You can spice up the seeds with your favorite seasoning such as garlic salt or soul food. Sprinkle some more salt on top as well.
-
Step 4
Turn oven to 100-150 degrees, the key is toasting not burning. Put seeds in until they are golden brown. Make sure to stir occasionally to get both sides. Once done, ENJOY
