win playing Craps at the Casino

I once walked away from a casino craps table with more than $1000 in my pocket. Most of the time, I average $50-$100 win. There are millions of techniques and strategies on the net, but I will share with you how I play casino craps. This article will explain how to minimize loss and maximize profit playing casino craps.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Familiarize yourself with the basic rules of casino craps. You can find plenty of information on the internet. There are millions of craps strategy, but you need to find the one that you are comfortable with. For me, I am most comfortable with the craps strategy that minimizes losses and maximums profits. This is how I play casino craps which I will share with you.

  2. Step 2

6 & 8. The Casinos will pay you $7 for every $6 you put on the number 6 or on the number 8. In other words, if you put $12 on 6 and it hits, you receive $14. If you put $30 on the 8 and hits, you receive $35. A simple way to calculate the winnings on 6 & 8 is to divide your bet by 6 and multiply by 7. For example: $30/6 = 5; 5 x 7 = $35. If you bet $102 on 6, and it hits, you receive $102/6 = 17; 17 x 7 = $119. That's a lot of money.

  3. Step 3

The key to possibly winning big at craps is to press your bets. This is how I play. After any number is established, I tell the dealer that I want $6 on number 6 and $6 on number 8. That's a total of $12. If they throw a seven immediately after before hitting any number, the most money that I lost is $12. Depending on how many people are at the table, and how fast the dealers are, it can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes each shooter. Losing a maximum of $12 each shooter is very minimal in the casino. It's not bad, considering you can lose at least $20 in under 5 minutes playing slot machines.

  4. Step 4

Let's say that the shooter is just average. Once you have your point established, have $6 on number 6 and $6 on number 8. Remember, that's a maximum of $12 that you can lose. For the sake of simplicity, I will only explain using the number 6 since both 6 & 8 get paid in the same manner.

  5. Step 5

The way that I play is to keep pressing. I want to press in a manner that will minimize losses, and maximize profits. This is how I do it with the number 6. I place $6 on number 6. If it hits once, I get paid $7. Instead of getting the $7, I tell the dealer to press my number 6 for a total of $12. I get back $1 which means that I am still down $5, but I have $12 working for me on number 6. If the number 6 hits again, I tell the dealer to press it and make it $18 on number 6. The dealer will give me back $8 for a total win of $3. Remember, I still have $18 on number 6, and $3 in my pocket. That's only after two hits. Keep in mind that you could say "bets down" at any time, and leave with a profit. So far, you could leave with $21, or you can still have the $18 working for you.

  6. Step 6

This is the chart that I use to press my bets. $6, $12, $18, $30, $60, $102, $150, $300, $498, $498, $498. (Reason why it is $498 because it is divisible by 6, and many casino maximum bet is $500). If you hit the number 6 ten times, you will win $1453 (added bonus is that you don't have pay taxes). Hitting any number 10x is quite rare but it has happened to me before. Depending on how risky you are, you may want to say "bet down" after the number 6 has been hit 5 or 6 times. This is how much I will win corresponding to the number of times that the number 6 is hit. I always carry this chart with me to the casino. $6 on 6. 1) $12,-$5. 2)$18,+3 3)$30,+12 4)$60,+17 5)$102,+45 6)$150,+116 7)$300,+141 8)$498,+291 9)$498,+872 10)$498,+1453. In other words, from the chart, if the number 6 is rolled 5 times, $102 is how much you have on 6 and +45 is how much money you win. If you say "bet down" after the number 6 is hit five times, $102 + $45 = $147. On average, $147 is a good win. To win $1453, just pray that the number 6 is hit ten times. It's rare, but it's possible.

  7. Step 7

Remember don't be greedy when it comes to playing casino games. Just have fun. *For additional information see resources below*

on 2/1/2009 I've seen 6 come in time and time again - usually when I have $25 on the 9! Thanks though. Will try your strategy next time I find a hot table.
