More wrap ideas! Here's another fun and interesting twist to the traditional egg salad sandwich that's less messy and fun to eat!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 white or whole wheat tortilla
  • 1 boiled egg, chopped in small bits
  • 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp of parsley
  • 2 slices of lettuce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Step 1

Boil egg for 15-20 minutes until egg is hard-boiled. Cool under cold water, then crack and chop egg into very small pieces. In a small bowl, mix chopped eggs, mayonnaise, parsley, salt and pepper, and mix until ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. Step 2

Place egg mixture onto tortilla, then place lettuce on top of egg mixture. Fold two opposite ends of tortilla, then take one unfolded end and roll until you reach the other end, gathering the ingredients into the tortilla after every roll.

  3. Step 3

Seal the ends by placing on a hot frying pan, and press with a spatula for 20-30 seconds, then wrapping in plastic wrap. Before eating, place the unwrapped tortilla wrap in a toaster oven at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes, or until the tortilla is golden brown, or heat in a microwave for 1 1/2 minutes until warm.

Tips & Warnings
  • Whenver you place ingredients onto the tortilla, always place more ingredients on the side you will start rolling, so that when you begin to roll, the ingredients will not spill out as much as you roll.
  • If you decide to seal your wrap, always make sure the pan is on high, and never leave the wrap on the pan for more than 30 seconds, or it will burn!
