Working at home can be very lucrative if you can avoid all of the scams on the internet. Ehow is a site where you can earn legitimate income without leaving your home. Start making money online by going to ehow.com and sign up for the writers compensation program. If you do not already have one, set up a PayPal account. You will need a checking account to link to PayPal.
Step 2

Begin writing articles. If you are at home, make a commitment to work a certain number of hours per day. If you want an income with an at home job, it will require some home work. At least five hours per day, five days per week is a good start.
Step 3

Save your articles in a file. Save pictures in another file. They should be easily accessible. Being organized with your internet business will lead to a higher earnings success rate.
Step 4

Write as many articles as you can in the time you have allotted yourself. Try to do at least 10-20 per day. You will earn a legitimate income with doing work online.
Step 5

Find ideas for articles in the checkout line, at the gym, in magazines, television shows, and anywhere else that peaks your interest. Keep a notebook with you at all times to jot down ideas.

Do not plagiarize material. Be sure your material is as original as possible. You can use ideas, but the article itself has to be your own writing.

Promote your articles at digg, facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn and blogs. Read as much information on ehow as you can about how other members make money as well.
Step 10

Do not worry about your earnings in the beginning.Keep track of them, but do not obsess over them. There is no set pay on ehow. Earnings and views are not always consistent, but you will get paid. Just keep writing, checking keywords, and promoting your articles. Jobs are hard to find in the real world today, but internet businesses are booming. Just start writing and you will earn money online almost immediately.
