Looking for something quick, easy, and sweet for a breakfast treat? It only takes about 5-10 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to bake. The whole family will love this simple recipe.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One package of crescent rolls (I like Pillsbury the best!)
  • 4oz Cream Cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. Whip Cream
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • Fruit Pie Filling - (strawberry, blueberry, apple...pick your pleasure!)
  1. Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, whip cream, and sugar. If you soften your cream cheese a little there will be no need for an electric mixer. Mix until creamy. Now you have your filling.

  2. Step 2

Roll crescent rolls out flat. Divide the rolls into four rectangles(instead of triangles), and press the perforations together on each rectangle. Now you have your crust. Place the rectangles on a baking tray.

  3. Step 3

Spread the cream cheese filling out on the rectangular crust. Now add a spoonful of the fruit pie filling of your choice (my family loves strawberry!). Place the pie filling right in the middle of your rectangle rather than spreading it out.

  4. Step 4

Now take the opposite corners of the rectangle and bring them together so that the corners meet in the middle. Press them together lightly. Take the other two corners and bring them together so that they meet in the middle as well. Lightly press all four corners together.

  5. Step 5

Bake your rolls at 375 degrees for about 9-11 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool, and serve your delicious breakfast treat!!

  6. Step 6

Tips & Warnings
  • Be careful not to add too much filling or the roll will not close properly.
  • Depending on how much filling you use, usually you can make two packages of crescent rolls with this recipe.
  • You can also use the extra big crescent rolls, they have six crescent rolls instead of eight, which means you will make three breakfast rolls instead of four. But I prefer to use two packages of the large rolls, because you can fit more fruit filling inside!
  • When the rolls first come out of the oven they are very hot! Let the cool for a few minutes before serving.
