Delicious, versatile vinaigrette in a matter of minutes!

Learn this quick and easy way to make a delicious balsamic vinaigrette! Minced garlic and a dash of Parmesan cheese add zest and flavor to this easy, versatile recipe. Just a little of this dressing goes a long way toward adding extra flavor to a variety of different foods.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A wire whisk
  • 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Step 1

Finely mince 1 clove of garlic and place in mixing bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Add 1/2 cup olive oil.

  3. Step 3

Slowly add 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar.

  4. Step 4

Add 1/2 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese. This can be doubled into a full tablespoon if you so desire, but I find anything more than that tends to make the dressing too lumpy.

  5. Step 5

Add salt and pepper to taste. You can also add onion powder, garlic powder, salad elegance, or rosemary. These are all delicious additions which add a little extra flavor.

  6. Step 6

Mix until smooth with a wire whisk.

  7. Step 7

Drizzle over salad, chicken, ground turkey, potatoes, or vegetables. Get creative! This is very versatile and tasty with a variety of different foods.

Tips & Warnings
  • Stores well for 3-4 days. If storing in the refrigerator, the oil has a tendency to solidify a bit. Just mix with your whisk again before serving.
  • This recipe can be doubled without altering the taste.
