Step 1
Olive oil is amazing for any skin type! It hydrates and balances moisture, and can be used on dry skin AND hair! Simply smooth the oil over the affected area and be prepared to feel glorious! This is the same olive oil that you use for cooking so if you do not feel comfortable quite yet with putting it on your body, try to incorporate it more in your meals, along with other essential fatty acids like nuts and fish oils.
Almond, Avocado, and Coconut oil are other beneficial oils that can be used in the same manner. -
Step 2
Honey is a great moisturizer. It draws moisture into the skin, helping to hydrate, smooth and soften your skin. It is also a powerful antioxidant, combating the free radicals that cause premature aging. Smooth it onto dry skin areas and leave on for at least ten minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.

Step 3
Oatmeal is great for use as a cleanser or a facial mask.
To use oatmeal as a facial cleanser, mix a little bit of olive oil into 1/2 cup of ground oats until you achieve your desired consistency. Massage gently on the face. Rinse thoroughly.
Cooked oatmeal can be applied to the face as a mask until dried. Oatmeal can also be mixed with yogurt to add extra moisturizing properties. Add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt to 1/2 cup of oatmeal and apply to the face like a mask. Leave on for about ten minutes until rinsing.
