Things You'll Need:
- Internet
- car
-
Step 1
At the beginning of your day go search the internet "gas prices" to find local gas prices. Some web sites are better than others. Or you could call your favorite local gas station for the most current price.
-
Step 2
If you are leaving the house and need gas we want to hit the cheapest gas station on the way to our destination. There is no point of driving more miles to buy gas a few pennies cheaper.
-
Step 3
On filling up at gas stations, if the prices are in a steady decline fill up half way. That way you can put another half a tank of cheaper gas next time the price drops. Also if the prices are on the way up you would want to fill your tank to get all the cheapest gas in the tank before the prices raise up again.

on 2/4/2009 Cheaper gas is always good unless of course you spend more for the gas to get to it than what you will save. I actually know people who do that. *L*
