Online playlists have become popular due to its ease of use and convenience. You can listen to your favorite music when you are online in one playlist or switch to a different playlist anytime depending on your mood. Playlists can also be shared with your friends or posted into your social networking site account. It's easy to create an online playlist. Just follow these steps:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Broadband internet connection
  • Songs
  • Basic Internet knowledge
  • Speaker
  1. Step 1

Signup for a free account by going to www.playlist.com. You will need to provide a preferred username, a valid email address, and password in order to register.

  2. Step 2

After you have successfully created an account, you are now ready to create your music playlist. You can compile your music of preference into one playlist or you can make individual playlists based on music genres. It just depends on how you want it. To start building your online playlist, click on "My Playlists" link found on the topmost right portion of the screen. You will be redirected to "Your Playlists" page.

  3. Step 3

Since you just signed up, no playlists will be shown. To create a new one, click on the "Create a new playlist" link found under Quick Links menu on the right side of the screen.

  4. Step 4

You need to fill up the title of your playlist and description by typing on the appropriate text box. Click on "Create playlist" button to proceed. Your new playlist will appear on "Your playlists" page.

  5. Step 5

To populate your playlist with songs, click on the playlist name. A music player will show up. Since you haven't added any music titles to it yet, it will show as empty. To add songs, type a song title on the search box. You can also use an artist's name to search for specific songs that you'd like to add to your online playlist. Click the Search button to begin your search.

  6. Step 6

Search results will be displayed depending on the search criteria you used. To add the song to your list, click on the plus (+) sign found on the left bottom part of the music album cover.

  7. Step 7

Keep on adding music to your playlist until it has plenty of titles in it. To view your playlist, click on My Playlist link and click on your playlist title. A player will show-up on the page with your playlist tracks. Click on the controls to play your selection.

  8. Step 8

You now have an online playlist! You can play and listen to your favorite songs anytime when you access the internet. You can also share them with friends or post it to your MySpace or Facebook profile. To do this, click on the corresponding link on the bottom of the "Share this playlist" options. You will be instructed how to generate the code and paste it to your profile.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can always edit your playlist anytime. You just have to access your account and make some changes.
  • You can add up to 200 songs per playlist.
