Remove Tree Sap Off Your Car Easily

Pine trees can be beautiful to look at, but not to clean up after! So many times I can recall having nasty tree sap on my car! Having tried several tricks, here are a few I can say work from experience! The good thing is the items that remove tree sap the best, are items you probably have at home right now, in your pantry!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Peanut Butter - Cover the area with peanut butter (creamy) and allow it to sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then wipe it clean with a clean cloth, towel, or napkin. It sounds strange, but it really works!

  2. Step 2

Mayonnaise - Mayo will work the same way the peanut butter does. Although I believe the peanut butter works easier, the mayo works great just takes a bit more scrubbing.

  3. Step 3

Hand Sanitizer - Simply cover the affected area with hand sanitizer. Next wipe it off with a clean towel, cloth, or napkin. This is an easy and effective way to remove the sap from an area of your car without harming your paint.
