Those eligible for the IRS tax rebate include people who did not receive IRS stimulus tax checks in 2008, received less than the maximum economic stimulus tax amount allowed on their checks, added an additional qualified child in 2008, were claimed as a dependant on someone else's tax return but can not be claimed as a dependent on another tax return in 2008 and those who did not have an eligible social security number in 2007 but acquired one in 2008.
