The Yahoo! Mail homepage

Yahoo is the email service that I personally use. I prefer it over other email services because it has unlimited storage and, for me, it is just overall easier.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Computer
Internet

Step 1

Type in mail.yahoo.com in the address bar, it will take you straight to the login page.
Step 2

Under the sign in area on the right hand side, there is a link that says "Sign Up". Click that, it takes you to the sign up form.
Step 3

The first thing you will be filling out is your name (first and last), your gender, your birthdate, your county and postal code.
Step 4

Next choose an ID, if you want @yahoo.com, ymail.com, or rocketmail.com. After filling out the information about yourself, it will give you some suggestions. If you don't like the suggestions, choose another. It will check to see if that ID is taken. If it is, add a number or letter, or choose a whole different ID. You will also choose a password and retype the password in this step.
Step 5

Then you give them an alternate email in case you forget your ID or password. You also choose a security question and answer.
Step 6

Next you need to type in the cod that is at the bottom and check the agree button, after you have read the terms of service and privacy policy. Then click "Create My Account" at the bottom!
Step 7

Congratulations you have a Yahoo! email account! You will be directed to a page that shows your account details and there is a button to take you to your inbox. There will be a pop up that asks you if you want to take a short tutorial. This is great for people who are new to email.
