Prepare for a Bungee Jump
Prepare for a Bungee Jump

Bungee jumping is an exciting, adrenaline-packed extreme sport. If you are properly prepared, it will be an unforgettable experience and a story to tell forever. Follow these simple steps to avoid a potentially unpleasant and disappointing experience.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Money
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  1. Step 1

Be well-rested. Getting a good night's sleep ensures that you will appreciate the jump to the fullest.

  2. Step 2

Avoid heavy drinking the night before the jump. Being hungover is a good way to ruin a bungee jump.

  3. Step 3

Eat a light breakfast. Blowing chunks during the jump will almost never be a good thing, but it will be especially unpleasant if you have a lot of food in your stomach. Where do you think the vomit will end up?

  4. Step 4

Wear proper clothing. Bungee jumping can be cold. Dress slightly warmer than the weather would suggest. For example, if you would normally wear just a t-shirt and shorts, bring along a windbreaker.

  5. Step 5

Spit out your gum before you jump. You may involuntarily open your mouth on the way down, and the gum could easily end up in your hair.

Tips & Warnings
  • This article is meant for inexperienced jumpers who are using a professional bungee-jumping service. Do-it-yourself bungee jumping is not recommended and can be highly dangerous.
