This is how to play a game that is a lot of fun and has raised a lot of money for our fire department.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a 24"x 24" wire cage (with wire bottom)
  • a chicken
  • and a game board (piece of plywood at lease 24" x 24"
  1. Step 1

step 1; make the game board. The game board needs to be at least 24"x 24" to fit the cage. The face of the game board needs to be divide into equal size squares. the smaller the squares the more people can play , however the bigger the chance of multiple winners. I suggest 4" square boxes. this gives you 36 play areas and if it costs 2 bucks to play that is $72 per game, half goes to winner your charity keeps the other. We bought a new fire truck this way 2 years ago. It's great to set up at local street fairs and town festivals.

  2. Step 2

once you have the game all divided into squares, like i said you set it up at a local celebration and charge for a chance to win (amount your choice). when someone buys a chance, write their name on a sticker or post it note and let them choose a square.

  3. Step 3

When all the squares are full in comes the chicken. Place the cage with the chicken inside so that it cover the all the squares on the game board, and wait. When the chicken does it's "doody" whose name it lands on it the winner.

Tips & Warnings
  • to get more games in , in short time watermelon to chickens is like ex-lax to us
  • if a hot day keep your chicken in the shade until "go" time
