1. Smile. A smile shows that you are approachable, friendly and likeable. All these traits come in handy when you are trying to relate to your customer. People will often buy things from someone they feel comfortable with.

2. Show your personality. A bubbly, funny person will be able to sell more because people will enjoy his or her company.

3. Know your product. If someone asks you for specifics on any product you are selling, you need to know how to answer them. If necessary, write notes about the product and study them. Make sure the customer doesn't stump you because that will decrease your likelihood of getting a sale!

4. Convince the buyer to purchase. Highlight the benefits that come with buying the product you are selling. Encourage the customer to buy the product, but don't be too aggressive or the buyer will be turned off.

5. Offer a reasonable price. Selling more quantities at a lower price beats selling fewer quantities at prices that are too high.

6. Offer a refund or discounts when applicable. This establishes customer trust and increases the number of future sales.
