Things You'll Need:
- Stainless Steal Cage
- Heavy Duty Bars
- Big enough for wing span
- Easy Door Access
- Lower Tray Removal
-
Step 1
First step you need to consider before you buy a Parrot Cage is where in the house are you going to put your cage. Is it going to be in the corner or on a side wall. Of course, if it's going to be in the corner, consider getting a corner cage.
-
Step 2
Find a cage that is Stainless Steal or doesn't have paint on the bars. Large birds and especially Parrots can chip the paint off and end up digesting the paint chips. Of course that will not be good for their health.
-
Step 3
Get a cage that has bars either very wide or very narrow so the bird or parrot doesn't get their head stuck between the bars. Also, an easy access door that allows you to change their water without spilling is very helpful.
