So your looking to buy a REAL Prada Purse..Or just spot a FAKE! Follow these rules to tell if it's real.

Step 1

First Things first..Looking for a Real Prada bag can take time AND money! But if you feel like it's your "thing" you will want to Make sure that if you are buying a Prada bag off an auction or website that it comes with certificates of authenticity and/or at least some type of serial number you can look up from Prada themselves.
Step 2

If some Certificate is not available look for these real signs: look at the Prada name on the emblem,look at the R in PRADA if the right leg on the R is straight--its fake,if it curves in--its real.
The background of the Prada plate is usually the same color as the bag.
The medal of the bag even the buttons should all say Prada.
The tag INSIDE the bag should read "PRADA made in Italy"
The lining of the bag should also read Prada horizontally all over it.It's Prada's signature lining that is used for their bags.
Step 3

Last but..well least..Try to always buy your Designer bag or purse at an authorized retailer such as a department store( I.E. Macy's/Sak's Fifth Avenue.) If your going to go $BIG$..just go big or go home. But if you buy it from an online discount department store read all the fine print.
If you buy at something like EBAY..make sure the seller is reputable and read all the print and even email them back and forth until you get all the information you want. Nobody wants to get ripped off so be cautious..and don't forget to look good and snazzy!
