This is awsome Irish soda bread.When it comes out of the oven take a slice put some butter on it and enjoy!!!!!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 5 tbs sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbs butter
  • 1 cup butter milk
  • 2 3/4 cups of raisins
  • 8" cake pan
  1. Step 1

    Start by getting a nice big bowl put 2 cups of flour -add 4 tbs sugar (dont worry we will use the other tablespoon of sugar later) now add
    1 1/2tsp baking powder- 1 tsp baking soda -1 tsp of salt

  2. Step 2
     

    okay now add in 3 tbs of butter mix until course then add butter milk -2 3/4 cups of raisins stir it till everthing is looks nice .

  3. Step 3

    Get your 8" bowl then you want to shape it now sprinkle the tablespoon of sugar on top of the loaf.
    Pre heat the oven at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes
    Then you can stick it in the oven for about 40 minutes .

  4. Step 4
     

    This is a nice holiday bread .I eat this any time not just for holiday. Thank you and enjoy with family and friends.
