Things You'll Need:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 cups soy milk or water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
-
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients, mixing together. Once all the dry ingredients are stirred together add in the wet ingredients and stir. If the batter is too thick add one tablespoon of water at a time until you reach your desired consistency. At this time if you would like to add fruit to your pancakes, mix them into the batter.
-
Step 2
Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium heat. laddle out batter onto the pan, leaving space between each pancake so it can expand. Flip pancakes once the edges begin to brown and little bubbles form around the outside. If pancakes are sticking to the pan try using a nonstick cooking spray on the frying pan.
-
Step 3
Once pancakes are cooked, remove from pan and serve! You can top the pancakes with a variety of fruits or just add syrup! Yum!

on 8/17/2009 A great tip is to use the g-Spout a new kitchen gadget! Its wonderful for pouring perfect pancakes, muffins and cupcakes. No more drips and baked on batter. We even love using it to strain off that yucky grease from bacon... http://www.g-Spout.com
