Step 1
Record your lifeline and define your life’s moments. Ask yourself these two questions: What are the events and experiences that have defined who I am now? Is there any incomplete business that keeps me from completely enjoying my life?

Think about how your new life will look and feel.Discover what an imagined life feels and looks like to you. Does it feel exciting, loving? Do you see yourself creating a family or a new career? Think about things like a healthier lifestyle, spirituality, family, friends and career.

Step 3
Realize what your trade-offs will be (because you will have them). Ask yourself: What do I need to let go of (relationships and otherwise)? What is really important to me? Where am I now, where do I want to be and how will I get there?

Step 4
Create your action plan. Take steps everyday, no matter how small they may seem. Enjoy the process, and enjoy life. Be S.M.A.R.T. about your goals. Make them Specific Measurable Action-oriented Realistic and Time and resource constrained.

Step 5
Determine what does and doesn’t work. When you do that, make the necessary changes. However, don’t overlook embracing your growth and remembering that life is a process.
