How to Type Accents On Your Computer
Very few words in the English language require the use of an accent. As a result, the standard U.S. English keyboard doesn't include accented letters in its layout. There are however, a number of commonly used words or phrases borrowed from other languages that do require accents when written. Common practice allows the accent to be omitted in most instances. It is possible though to include accents in written communications with the proper key combination.
