- Wig shampoo

Step 1
First you want to take your wig brush and brush your wig making sure to get all tangles out. Then you will want to fill your kitchen sink with COLD water and squirt some wig shampoo in. Take your hand and swoosh it around in the water to mix the shampoo in.

Make sure your towel is handy. Next take your wig and place it in the soapy water and let it set for about 15 minutes, this helps dissolves any dirt and oil build up in your wig.

After your wig has sat in the shampoo water, pick up your wig by the crown and dunk it back and forth several times. Make sure you are not rubbing your wig as this will tangle the wig hairs.

After dunking your wig several times, your now ready to rinse your wig. Drain water out of your sink and now fill sink up with COLD water. Again hold wig by the crown and start dunking in the rinse water until the wig rinses clear.

Now you want to lay your dripping wig and lay it on a towel, fold the towel over the wig and gently press down to soak up some of the water. Never wig or twist your wig to get the excess water out. Take the wig out of the towel and hang your wig on a door hook or something that will allow the wig to dry inside the wig cap.

Once your wig is dry, you may now comb and or brush your wig and spray with a wig conditioning spray to had sheen.
