Cats are furry, lovable, and the best of companions. Your cat greets you after a hard day's work, hugs your legs while you do your housework, and snuggles you once you've settled in for the day. Ok, maybe she just ignores you, or only wakes up to eat. Either way, she deserves the best.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Cats are not always the most charming animals. They are sassy. They have an attitude. They can be downright defiant and demanding. Sometimes, they don't smell fantastic. It is important to embrace this side of your cat, and let you know care for her, regardless.

  2. Step 2

It is important to understand your kitty. Communicate with her, and try to find an even keel where you can sympathize with one another.

  3. Step 3

Let your cat know you love her. Affection is important and it makes for a happy, attentive cat.

  4. Step 4

Let your cat rest. She requires a certain amount of downtime to recharge after a day full of sleeping and eating. If she has a sofa to recline on which she considers her own, this is even better.

  5. Step 5

Play with your cat. She doesn't require fancy toys; a wad of paper or string will work just fine. However, if you splurge on a laser pen, you will provide yourself and your cat with hours of entertainment. A happy cat is a healthy cat.

Tips & Warnings
  • Cats are great pets for those who work long hours; they are independent and don't mind the alone time.
