With all the bluetooth devices coming out today, Macintosh has a very easy way to connect these devices to your computer. With these few steps you can connect a bluetooth mouse or headset, or anything else with a bluetooth connection.

Things You'll Need:

  • Mac computer
  1. Step 1

    Go to and click on system preferences. Usually this can be found in your dock, but if its not there it can be found by navigating to this folder in finder. finder > applications > system preferences.

  2. Step 2

    Once under system preferences, find the icon that says "bluetooth" in the hardware section and click it.

  3. Step 3

    Make sure your computer is on and discoverable by checking the boxes at the top. Next go to the lower left corner and hit the "+" sign to add a new device.

  4. Step 4

    Follow the steps as your computer tells you in the window.

  5. Step 5

    Your bluetooth device is now connected. You should only have to follow these steps once. Your computer will recognize the device from now on when it is turned on or in range.
