Bare Escentuals is an all-natural mineral makeup. It's made from crushed minerals and does not contain any preservatives or additives such as talc, oil or fragrances like most other cosmetics. It's the perfect makeup for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin, and it contains an SPF of 15. A few basic steps is all it takes to apply this creamy makeup that will leave you feeling like you are not wearing any makeup at all.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bare Escentuals powder foundation
  • Bare Escentuals makeup brush
  • Mirror
  1. Step 1

Remove the lid of the container that the makeup comes in. Tap a small amount of the powder into the lid. You want about a quarter-size amount of powder in the lid. Set aside the container of powder.

  2. Step 2

Hold the makeup brush so the bristles are straight up and down in the powder in the lid; swirl the makeup brush, picking up most of the powder. Swirl the brush about two to three times and tap the brush against the side of the lid to shake off any excess powder.

  3. Step 3

Apply the powder to your face by moving the brush in a circular manner. Start at the outside of the face and work in toward the nose.

  4. Step 4

Apply more makeup, if needed, by following the above steps until you achieve the desired coverage.

Tips & Warnings
  • Bare Escentuals powder foundation can be used as a concealer under the eyes and around the nose by using a smaller brush to apply.
  • Be careful not to get in eyes.
