How to Make a Baseball Card From Scratch
Creating your own baseball card is a great way to get some laughs or celebrate a great pick-up game that you and your friends took part in. With today's technology, creating your own baseball card is fairly easy. You can use your baseball card for party invitations, postcards, a fantasy baseball league or just to poke fun at yourself and hand out something silly to your friends.

Open the baseball card in the template. Most templates have a layer that indicates where to paste your picture. If no "paste picture here" layer is present simply use the magic wand to select the negative space (the white background) and hit the delete key. This will allow you to paste the picture you want to use under the frame of the template.

4
Paste the picture into the frame. Check to make sure it fits. If not, use the pointer tool and click the image. A dotted line frame should appear with small boxes at the corner. Place your cursor over the small corner box until the cursor becomes two small diagonal arrows each pointing in the opposite direction. Click and drag to increase or decrease size.

5
Click on the the text to change it. If this does not work, grab the text bar tool and drag it across where you would like to place the text. You can then type in the text. If you want to change the direction of the text, grab the pointer tool and click on the text. The dotted line box should appear again. Take the cursor to the corner box until it becomes two curved arrows. Now you can rotate the text.
-
6
Place a sheet of card stock printer paper in your printer. There are glossy card stock printer sheets available as well that will make this look even more like a baseball card. Print it out and cut the baseball card out with a pair of scissors. Now you have your own homemade baseball card to prank people with, show off or simply display proudly.
