The Bible says, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you, and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven" Matthew 5:44-45.

Pray that God will help you to forgive that person, in the same manner that you want God to forgive you.

Pray that God will protect this person, and even bless them.

Pray that God will break down every stronghold in this person's life, and that He will bind Satan, and thwart every evil plan that he has for this person, and that He will stop every lie that Satan would put into this person's mind.

Pray that God will visit this person with a Spirit of repentance, and reconciliation, and ask God to help this person to take steps to make right what they did to you. Pray that God will heal the hurt that this person has caused in you, so that whatever happens, it will be resolved, and will not haunt you any longer.

My favorite quote, was in your tips and tricks. So true! My friend prayed for someone she did not like at all, then found when someone else said something bad about that same person, she found herself defending them! Great article! And BIBLICAL!!

I have been doing just this today .I had a chance to really hurt this person and it was like I felt to just pray for them and I want to be like my father was , he was a minister and had more compassion than anyone and it's harder than what people think to be kind.

This is a hard thing to do, but by not doing so, you are hurting yourself more than the person you dislike. (I really don't believe in "hating" people. Too destructive.) Extremely good article. 5*
