Things You'll Need:
- Pink foam hair rollers
- Spray bottle
- Hair spray or curling spray
- One full nights sleep
-
Step 1
Prepare your hair.
For the best curl, start with unwashed hair. The reason for this is, the natural oil in your hair helps form and hold the curls. So instead of washing, mist enough water to make hair slightly damp. -
Step 2
After hair is damp, comb through well and part hair where your natural part falls. Decide how much hair you would like to put in the foam rollers. The less amount of hair, means tighter curls, so keep that in mind when choosing how much for each roller.
-
Step 3
Take a section of hair, apply a small amount of hairspray or curling cream. Start rolling hair into the roller. For the sections of hair on the top of your head, you will want to roll the hair UNDER the roller. follow around the crown of your head, and roll all hair under on the top.
-
Step 4
Next start with the bottom layers. You will be rolling the hair OVER this time. Continue with these steps until all the hair is up in the foam rollers.
-
Step 5
The best way to get the full effect from the foam rollers is to let it dry overnight while you are sleeping. With Air drying, the curls set tighter and hold longer, than if you were to dry them with heat.
-
Step 6
After drying overnight, take each of the rollers out carefully. Use your fingers to style the curls, and apply one last mist of hair spray.
