This how-to article is for searching and finding sex offenders in your area. The site I am recommending will show you an arial map of your neighborhood, indicating where the offenders are living. The site also gives you a detailed report of the offender name and address, convictions, and more. Check this out if you are thinking about moving, or if you just want to know how far you live from a registered sex offender.

  1. Step 1

Go to your address bar and type in this web address: http://www.familywatchdog.us/

  2. Step 2

Look towards the middle section of the page. You will see a blue column labeled: Find Offenders, where you can enter in either the Offender's name, OR, you can enter the name of the city and state you live in.

  3. Step 3

Once you've selected your area, you will be redirected to a map of your area. The map will show where sex offenders live (and their workplace).

  4. Step 4

For more information on any of the offenders listed on the map, all you have to do is click the colored squares (you will see at the website that the squares indicate an offender). When you click, you will be able to see the name and address of offender, their convictions, alias, and more.
